I briefly wrote about how you move from confusion to clarity by first moving from fear to faith. Changing things from the inside out brings about the only change that’s completely transformative, the only change that’s real! Let’s look at a few things you need to have in your life to see change.
Prayer
Prayer is less about getting your heart understood by God and more about getting your heart aligned with God. “Remember them in our day, in our time make them known. In wrath remember mercy” (Habakkuk 3:2). True, biblical prayer is honest and desperate, the kind of prayer God will answer.
Vision
After his prayer, Habakkuk had a vision of God (a theophany). It’s important for you to constantly seek after God and ask Him to reveal His truth to you. He might not always say what you want to hear, but it’ll always be what you need to hear.
Testimony
Habakkuk received God’s message and understood he’d have to wait to see the enemy defeated. There’s much more to the story, and so many other topics I could dive into. But I want you to walk away with this: The way to see hope and change is to start with hope and praise!
I hope you’ve all had a wonderful 4th of July! I’m truly thankful for the freedom we have in this country, and the freedom we have through God.
