When I talked about being all in for Jesus, I hope it got your wheels turning and pushed you to examine your life. I want to give you tools to be the person God made you to be. Let’s take another a look at the three waypoints of proper positioning!
Being the right person means doing what’s right, regardless of what others are doing. But how do you actually become strong and brave enough to stand up for what’s right? The answer is simple, yet something many people struggle to uphold—spend time in His Word, and become a man, woman, or young person of prayer. Sometimes you have to get back to the basics to get anywhere at all! You can’t know the Word of God without reading it. In the same way, you can’t know God without talking to him, listening to Him. Acts 4:13 “The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.” Don’t you want to be recognized as a man or woman who has a relationship with Jesus, someone who shines a light for Him?
How do you know you’re in the right place? If the harvest is ripe, you’re in the right place! Look around you. Do you see God orchestrating your steps and continually leading you to a certain place? Even if you’re uncomfortable, God knows what He’s doing and has plans you can’t even begin to understand.
What about time? How do you know it’s the right time for something? If you have to force it, it’s not the right time! But when God makes something clear, you step out in faith. Being willing to obey Him will allow you to witness and be a part of miraculous things!
